The year 2019 marks four decades this innovative spa and salon has been serving the Twin Cities with commitments to health, wellness and beauty.

The year 2019 marks four decades this innovative spa and salon has been serving the Twin Cities with commitments to health, wellness and beauty. After 40 years of service to the Twin Cities, Reflect is the new brand name for this three-location Aveda salon and spa. Reflect is a woman-owned and -operated salon and spa having served the Plymouth, Maple Grove and Minnetonka communities since 1979 as New Reflections Salon. The year 2019 marks forty years of serving the communities of both stylists and guests at the salon and spa.

Since launching the salon in the 70s before there were email addresses and cell phones, founder and owner Diane Keller has embraced and advanced her salon and spa to remain relevant and forward-thinking. “I knew this was the year to refresh our brand. It was time. Reflect is our new name, but we’re still the same high-end Aveda lifestyle spa and salon teamed by excellent, highly-educated employees.”

 

Keller and the leadership team worked with Minneapolis branding studio, Avenue C, to establish their new brand look and feel creating the name, wordmark, URL, brand look, feel and assets for Reflect. Avenue C is a creative, product and trend studio with headquarters in Minneapolis: www.avenuec.studio The result of numerous interviews, brand manifesto statements and brand strategy, Avenue C rebranded New ReflectionsSalon to: Reflect.

Working in all lowercase, the Reflect wordmark emulates their culture: authentic and welcoming. It is an appropriate complement to their sister brand, Aveda. The Reflect brand name is also a grateful nod to their business name of the past forty years while a confident gaze at their abundant future. Avenue C brought an elegance to the forward-moving trim lines around each letter of “reflect.” The wordmark is bold in its simplicity.
